Vikings first round was really impressive. To get a legit quarterback prospect, and possibly the best defensive player in the draft, without moving up a whole lot, that was about as good as they could have done.
Rest of the draft was just hard to tell..Just not a lot of picks to go around.

Looks like San Francisco 49rs back up QB Sam Darnold will be the Vikings starting QB next season. Minnesota expected to sign him to a one year deal for about 10 million dollars.

Vikes were treading water with Kirk.  Tough to compete with younger and better rosters in Chicago, Detroit, and Green Bay.  They need to be patient and avoid making a bad deal to move up like Carolina did last draft.  Better to suffer through a difficult 2024 and enter the 2025 draft with improved draft capital and potentially more money for free agency.  Perhaps they can trade Jefferson for several picks…and reverse the tables from the Herschel Walker trade debacle.

Now I think the Vikings will see just how good Kirk cousins was. I'm sure they already know. Must want to move up in the draft and get a QB.

Lifelong Viking fan since 1975.  I'm glad that Hall will get the start on Sunday.  We'll see what he can do in a pressure game.

I don't know if the Vikings or Packers will make the playoffs, but we know that the loser of this game will likely be eliminated.

N.pike, I always liked Cousins.  He has been solid with the Vikings.  Kirk seems like a genuinely good person ala Donald Driver.

Pretty good season even with the qb carousel. 

Makes everyone realize just how good Cousins was.
