went back and looked at last years snapper that laid eggs under our pool deck. its the same turtle that I posted about earlier. he must have been headed for our pool deck again.

That is a black swallowtail butterfly.

I don't know what kind of butterfly this is if somebody else can help me out on that?

took this picture on June 6 as this turtle was heading east down our dead end road. he traveled about 1/3 of a mile at that time and probably further. don't know exactly where it went. Today he/she was headed back down our road towards the same place he came from.. Due to recent rains you could follow its tracks both ways.

Carpio,my late uncle,langlade county was a avid fly fisherman. he caught many a trout,bass,panfish even pike and musky on flies Tried to teach me the art but I could never get the casting rhythum down Tried but never worked.

Carpie looks like some sort of wasp .When used to go to KY lake would see black wasps and fire red wasps.boy they were some sort of a terror. They would not hesitate to sting you and i recieved some painfull stings yrs ago.
